Cally Higgins: Dublin, Ireland; Largely research-based, my practice uses the juxtaposition between the domestic and the official, the personal and the impersonal, in order to explore the place of the individual in the world. Working through the medium of installation and text/publication, the language and conventions of officialdom only serve to emphasise further the often very personal nature of my investigations.
